I'm Zeinab Mansour, based in Jaffa, a third year textile design student at Shankar college.
My major specialty is knitting fabrics in all sorts of techniques.
Mashrabiyeh, Arabesque and Islamic patterns
This project inspired by the traditional Mashrabiyah. Mashrabiyah is an architectural element which is characteristic of traditional architecture in the Islamic world.
what is interesting about it is the texture, the holes and the Arab quotes from the Qur'an and the Islamic calligraph.
